This means that first and foremost no animals or women are harmed in the making of their products. This principle also guides the careful processes used to select ingredients and preservatives. FAIRE want to create something joyfully physical, something to be treasured, a magazine you take your time to read and return to in moments of reflection.

FAIRE publishes considered and intimate long-form stories that bring us into artists’ homes and creative spaces; stories of slowing down, creating with intention, community and collaboration, and examining the twists and turns of creative lives and how to finally find your voice.

  • FAIRE is a quarterly magazine

  • 144 pages, printed and distributed by PurePrint Ltd on FSC certified paper.

  • FAIRE magazine is a certified CarbonNeutral® print product, using FSC® certified paper and natural non toxic inks, our magazine is printed by PurePrint in the U.K.

Harriet Jane

Harriet Calvert was born & raised on a small farm in a quaint village south of Tasmania’s Hobart. When Harriet was young, her grandmother - a professional dressmaker, invoked Harriet’s love of fashion design by bringing Vogue creations to life for her on special occasions. The whimsical creations of her grandmother paired with her Mother’s classic, effortless style inspired Harriet to study the art of fashion design before leaving Tasmania to journey around Australia.

In search of a new place to call home and bring her own creations to life, Harriet eventually settled upon the vibrant and alternate town of Byron Bay over 25 years ago. Harriet began to bring her own creations to life, selling them in boutiques and across markets until she eventually opened her own boutique selling not only her designs, but also those of other local designers.

Inspired by the vibrant colours of nature, Harriet found what she was seeking and combined her love of nature photography and fashion by printing her own photographic images onto fashion silhouettes created with natural fibres. Completely innovative in its art and fashion concept, Harriet Jane has been winning over lovers of contemporary design ever since it first debut with customers becoming avid collectors of each collection.

McIntyre Merino

McIntyre was born when founders Ned & Raquel were looking for a new merino sweater that matched their personal styles. When they couldn't find anything on the market, they laid down the plans for a quality, colourful, & accessible knitwear brand. McIntyre was born!

The pair had just spent a year living and working on Ned's family's sheep farm...the farming life wasn't for them, but a love of merino wool was now firmly entrenched in the pair.

All McIntyre products are made with Australian Merino wool. We LOVE wool because of its natural properties, and honestly believe that once you start wearing it you will never go back to synthetic fibres.

All McIntyre products are made with Australian Merino wool. We LOVE wool because of its natural properties, and honestly believe that once you start wearing it you will never go back to synthetic fibres.

Nancybird

Nancybird

Nancybird was established in 2002 in Naarm/Melbourne as a handmade range of bags and purses by founder Emily Wright.

Their iconic collections reflect an innate curiosity towards artisanship, art and the natural landscape.

Through collaborations with a global network of carefully selected craftspeople, each of Nancybird's pieces celebrates the expertise, craft and beauty of their maker’s community.

Each season Nancybird collaborates with artists, bringing their work to life on textiles, on leather - printed, embroidered, embossed. We champion these artists and their diversity.

Nancybird - Floratone

Nancybird - Floratone

Nancybird's latest collection, Floratone, invites you into a dreamy world where florals emerge from darkness, capturing the beautifully imperfect forms of both native and exotic gardens. Nancybird founder, Emily's innovative approach transforms delicate flowers – from plumbago and paper daisies to dahlias – into ethereal prints through a unique scanning process. By carefully arranging flowers against black fabric and capturing their essence through high-resolution scans, Emily has created a collection that blurs the lines between botanical documentation and artistic expression, revealing the subtle beauty of imperfection and natural forms.

Nancybird - Garden

Nancybird - Garden

A celebration of everyday beauty, a new season takes us into the Garden. Prints created in our studio by Nancybird founder Emily Wright. Delicate parsley leaves etched onto scratchboard and digitally layered for a batik-like effect, and soft Forget-Me-Nots rendered in textured impasto.

These painterly prints are carried across light spring silhouettes in fresh greens, pinks and soft blues, offering a first glimpse of a season filled with bold pattern, effortless shape, and joyful wearability.

Nancybird - Immerse

Nancybird - Immerse

As we transition into autumn, this collection from Nancybird invites us to traverse the coastal landscape of Louise Frith's artwork through an array of textured fabrics and soft colour accents.

Having grown up surrounded by the Australian bush, Sydney-based artist Louise Frith was drawn to art and landscape from her earliest memories.

Nancybird - Montage

Nancybird - Montage

Our first drop of Nancybird for Autumn 2025 is Montage..

Nancybird's newest collaboration, Montage, sees colours shift into the rich palette of artist Neil Tomkins’ emotive landscapes. Neil’s artwork brings a sense of warmth, showcased on long dresses and layered cottons featuring delicate smocking and gathering, wooden buttons, and floaty sleeves with finely embroidered details.

Numero 10 Bags

Numero 10 is the creation of Alberto Mondini, a craftsman who has been working as a highly skilled artisan. He has brought brilliance in leather to the fashion world for over 40 years.

His endless dedication and his passion for leather is the consequence of an honored and faithful tradition that has fulfilled Alberto’s life over generations. When this genetic heritage knocked his turn, it just translated into a severe handicraft method that yearned to explore the roots of this technique, and go back to basics to a 100% Italian honesty and discipline of working and developing breakthrough pieces, state-of-the-art items that entail “out-of-the-box” design and outstanding capacity to be functional.

The intention is to produce bags from the unmistakable personality, in the light of the fact that each specimen is processed and dyed by hand, just like it was done by the ancient Tuscan leather craftsmen.

Ochre Ceramics

Ochre Ceramics

In the words of Lauren, Ochre founder - "I believe we hold onto our most treasured possessions for life, they become the totems for our memories and milestones. A precious pair of gold hoops, gifted to us for our 30th birthday. I believe those stories start with how each piece is created. This is why I share with you my processes, it's why I am guided by an awareness of Ochre's footprint on the world, it's why my ethos has always been. . ."

Made in Brisbane, Australia

Olieve & Olie

Olieve & Olie began in 2000, as a small 15 acre property planted with 2000 olive trees by Andy & Jude Steele, on the banks of the Gunbower Creek, 50km west of Echuca.

In 2010, Andy & Jude sold their grove and moved to the Mornington Peninsula & have continued to grow the business ever since. They still sourced their olive oil from their old grove, maintaining the connection and quality of all their products.

Every single ingredient used is natural and contains no chemicals. The majority of Olieve & Olie's ingredients are self-explanatory, including the HERO, Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Olive oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E which provide anti-aging benefits and help restore skin smoothness. Olive oil won't clog your pores as it penetrates deeply into the skin while providing a cleansing effect. Olive oil is also one of the most sustainable oils, due to the fact the trees require little water, do not need to be sprayed with chemicals, and the olives can be harvested year after year without destroying the trees.

AMAZING products, which we just adore.

Pesci che Volano

Pesci che Volano

The Pesci che Volano jewellery collection is handmade using the ancient lost-wax casting method in a small atelier in Florence, Italy.

For the past 20 years, its team of designers and craftsmen has strived to maintain their natural creative process and a timeless taste for essential forms.

The bronze used to produce the jewellery pieces gives them a rustic, antique feel while their intricate details bear some resemblance to Etruscan works.

Unique symbols are hand carved into each individual piece while irregularities and imperfections ensure no two designs are exactly the same.

The name Pesci Che Volano (‘flying fish’), was inspired by a triptych altarpiece painted by Dutch draughtsman Hieronymus Bosch, where human figures ride flying fish. This image is a metaphor for the triumph of fantasy over reality and a constant reminder of the need to set our imagination free.

Sanctamuerte

Sanctamuerte

The Italian brand, SANCTAMUERTE collection is a result from an extensive study of shapes and the multiple identities they can become, combined with an profound love for experimentations and research. The results of these can be seen in the choice of materials and traditional methods for the collection. The exclusive fabrics, realized in natural fibers in the soft-hued colours of nature, create a timeless look and longevity of each garment.

SANCTAMUERTE is aimed at those who love freedom, who are not afraid of breaking preconceived moulds. A Retro avant garde collection is thus created through colours, fabrics, textures and shapes. And, as always happens in every product, they proudly show some edges left raw, as if they had been frayed by time and use. As if the garments want to remember that the most beautiful things in life are those that have a true and intense story to tell.

The materials are full-bodied, washed and treated natural and regenerative fabrics.
SANCTAMUERTE clothing is poetic as an interior journey, transversal to the ages, romantic, and deeply Italian. Exploring and breaking the norm through distinct shapes, SANCTAMUERTE Clothing takes tailoring to new lengths.

We hope you love this new brand as much as we do :-)

Selvedge Magazine

Launched in 2004, by fibre lover Polly Leonard, Selvedge Magazine celebrates our cerebral and sensual addiction to cloth while promoting skillfully made and carefully considered textiles.

In the words of Leonard, 'textiles are also at the forefront of the climate crisis; their production is tightly bound up with the inequalities that plague our society. I am embarrassed that this blight in our relationship with cloth has peaked in my lifetime. I was born in 1966, when an average person spent over 10% of their income on clothes and bought fewer than 25 garments a year.  Fast forward half a century, and the average person now spends less than 3% of their income on clothes. Yet, we consume more clothing than ever before: nearly 20 billion garments a year, that is 70 per person - more than one a week. More than 40 million tons of textiles are disguarded each year, an amount that has doubled in the last 20 years. Our love of textiles and insatiable desire for ever-cheaper production has created the climate crisis, but I believe that textiles also hold the key to a sustainable future.'

At From Dust, we hope to share, educate and encourage you to think more about the clothing you buy, the fibres they are made from & the people whom made them.

Happy reading.

NOTE: From Issue 123, price per magazine is $49. Earlier Issues remain at $39

At Untouched World™ the ethos is simple. We want to create beautiful, easy wear, easy care pieces you will enjoy for years to come. Pieces that not only make you feel good inside and out, but are also easy on the earth. Quality and sustainability are non-negotiables for us, and we won’t budge on either.

We are the first and only lifestyle fashion company in the world to be recognised by the United Nations for sustainability. We achieved this by getting basic things right from the get-go.

We look at every aspect of our business with sustainability in mind. That means considering the total life impact of what we produce, from the sustainably grown fibres we use, to our GOTS certified organic dyes and water based prints, right through to how our team dispose of their banana skins after lunch.
